Panagiotis Papantoniou

Dr. Panagiotis Papantoniou is a Civil Transportation Enginner, research associate at the Department of Transportation Planning and Engineering at the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. In 2008 he graduated from the School of Civil Engineering at the NTUA after having followed the option of Transportation Engineering. He has a Master of Science in the Interdisciplinary – Interdepartmental Program “Water Resources Science & Technology” and a PhD on Transport from NTUA.

He has 7 years of research experience in traffic engineering and road safety with emphasis on human factors, has participated in 11 research projects, has published 8 papers in scientific journals, 47 conference papers, he is a reviewer Scientific Journals and Conferences, teaching assistant in the graduate courses “Traffic management” and “Road safety” and supervising assistant in more than 15 Diploma Theses.
