The education activities of the Department of Transportation Planning and Engineering comprises the organization and teaching of 20 undergraduate courses at the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens: four courses are in the compulsory core curriculum, ten are compulsory and six are elective for the students following the transportation engineering cycle. Furthermore, the Department Faculty currently participates at four undergraduate and five postgraduate courses of the NTUA Civil Engineering School and other NTUA Schools.
