{"id":1418,"date":"2021-02-12T10:54:00","date_gmt":"2021-02-12T08:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/previews.cantaloop.gr\/dsait\/?post_type=project&#038;p=1418"},"modified":"2025-07-02T14:15:15","modified_gmt":"2025-07-02T11:15:15","slug":"interact","status":"publish","type":"project","link":"https:\/\/www.transport.ntua.gr\/dsait\/project\/interact","title":{"rendered":"INTERACT: Modeling And Simulation Of Mixed Traffic In Shared Space"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A number of\u00a0shared space\u00a0road settings have already been implemented around the world without prior evaluations. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transport.ntua.gr\/dsait\/keywords\/shared-space\" data-type=\"custom_tags\" data-id=\"76\">Shared space<\/a> is a concept of traffic regulation that aims at creating an environment where various types of road users coexist without segregation and share the same priority and space.\u00a0Systematic evidence of how the lack of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.transport.ntua.gr\/dsait\/keywords\/traffic-control\" data-type=\"custom_tags\" data-id=\"110\">control regulations<\/a> and the induced self-organization of road users may affect network efficiency, safety and environmental impacts is still missing.
