Katerina Papadatouis a researcher and PhD Candidate at the Department of Transportation Planning and Engineering of the School of Civil Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). She earned her diploma in Civil Engineering, specializing in Structural Engineering, in 2021. Since 2023, she has been pursuing a two-year Master’s program in “Informatics” at the University of Piraeus. Katerina has three years of professional experience as a Structural Engineer in the private sector. Since 2021, her research has focused on machine learning and deep learning for image analysis. In 2024, she began her PhD at NTUA, concentrating on traffic data analysis using machine learning and deep learning techniques. She has contributed to European and Greek-funded transportation research projects and has presented her work at international transportation conferences. Her research interests include image and data analysis through statistical methods and machine learning, with an emphasis on transportation engineering and traffic analysis.
