The third general assembly meeting of FRODDO, held on the 3rd and 4th of June, was hosted by the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Electrical Engineering.

Our team had the opportunity to present the progress of our work related to:
Task 3.2: Integrated physical infrastructure for safe AV operation
DSAIT is working on developing an innovative framework for assessing the readiness of the Physical Infrastructure to accomodate CAVs.
Task 4.3: Traffic management simulations/models (ODD extension simulations/models)
Our team is working on the development of RL-based traffic management strategies for CAVs in complex road settings and near critical areas.
Task 5.3: Athens pilot: a unified PVT framework and tools in support of future ODDs of automated vehicles
DSAIT is testing the strategies developed in Task 4.3 on a detailed microscopic simulation environment of the Athens road network and guides the design of the Athens DIgital Twin.
The meeting concluded with inspiring discussions and strong collaboration across partners and showcased developments and next steps for the project’s pilot demonstrations!
