Prize Awards “Dimitrios Tsamboulas”, for the years 2020&2021

Students from the School of Civil Engineering of NTUA participated in the above competitions and received the following awards:

1st Prize for the 2021 Competition, on the subject: “Urban Freight Transport (City Logistics), Greek Reality – Implementation proposals” (Flora Kostopoulou and Styliani Roussou)

2nd Prize for the 2020 competition, on the subject: “Digitization of National and International Freight Transport and the role of bodies like HCTA and OFAE – Benefits, Challenges, Proposals ” (Alexios Kareklas, Alexandros Efthymiou and Mougios Georgios).

The Award Ceremony was held on October 2, 2021, in the main conference room of the Metropolitan Expo, the Award Ceremony of the three best works of the competitions of the years 2020 (which was postponed due to the pandemic) and 2021 took place, within the framework of the Panhellenic Conference on Urban Freight Transport.

The annual Transport Award HCTA “Dimitrios Tsamboulas” was established in 2016 by the Hellenic Chambers of Transport Association in memory of the deceased professor of NTUA and close collaborator of the HCTA and the Greek Chambers, Dimitrios Tsamboulas, for his multiannual work and contribution to Greek transport. The competition is panhellenic and concerns students and young graduates of all Greek Universities.
