Athanasios Theofilatos, Emmanuil Barmpounakis and Ioanna Pagoni, PhD students at the Department of Transportation Planning and Engineering of NTUA were awarded with the NTUA Thomaidion Award for outstanding publications in scientific journals or conferences proceedings for the year 2013.
A special session of the 2015 Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) was dedicated to the memory of Matthew Karlaftis (1969-2014), NTUA Professor, and his contribution to TRB and to transportation research and education.
