Book Public Transport Optimization by Assistant Professor Konstantinos Gkiotsalitis, April 2026

The international book Public Transport Optimization (https://lnkd.in/dJAjuqpf) written by NTUA Assistant Professor Konstantinos Gkiotsalitis, is now available in Greek from Tziolas Publications  (https://lnkd.in/d8JjTfPP). The book is already in Eudoxus (EUDOXUS CODE: 133044998) with the aim of holistic teaching of the undergraduate course “Public Transport” at the School of Civil Engineering of NTUA, as well as postgraduate courses in Urban Transport Design and Transport Systems Optimization.

The Book provides comprehensive training for the public transport modelers of the future to enable them to create their own models. It includes information about optimization approaches, metaheuristics, and analysis of computational complexities. In addition, it contains many examples, problems, and solutions to aid learning .
